Leather fixing?

Hi guys,

I've managed to put a small inprint in one of my seats. This is annoying as my rear seat is otherwise utterly immaculate. It's not physically damaged the leather but it has left an imprint in it, if you know what I mean. I think I pressued the seatbelt buckle against it by mistake or something.

How can this be fixed?

Thanks!

Some people need to get a grip with all this 'get a life' crap, honestly, I noticed a mark and wondered how I could get rid, so posted a quick thread which took a whole 23 seconds of my life. About the same time as it took you to post ****taking crap :)

Sorry dude, it screams of sad ****** disease to me.

I'll make a point of not giving a **** about my car in future then lest some people on the internet think I'm sad :)

It could be worse, I could follow football or something? ;)

Jeez, it looks 10 times worse that it does in the picture, I was sat looking at it (Becuase I've taken the seat out to replace the rear shocks at the moment) and my camera was on the table :p I'd not seen a mark like that before becuase I'm normally careful what I put on the seats, thats all.

I'm sure if I just hurled crap in my car all the time like the cool kids do I'd be more familiar with weather certain marks dissapeared or not :p

I think it would probably have helped had I not sucked at photography, as my crap photograph kinda reduces the 'visual impact'.

It actually looks like a tear until you look more closely at it.

And clearly posting this was a good idea - as the first reply in the thread answered the question perfectly.

You don't have to be an awesome photographer for us to understand it's a crease in the leather which happens, it goes away with time. I thought everyone knew that :p

The leather in my Mondeo had creases in it which did not go away despite 4 years of ownership. As it had loads I didn't give enough of a stuff to wish to do anything about it so I hadn't looked into it any further.

It was a question about cars on a forum about cars. I just forgot that this is the car forum where washing your car makes you sad and going 6 months without hoovering it is for cool kids :p

69,954 posts, assuming 23 seconds each therefore 1608942 seconds total posting time.

I make that 26815 minutes spent posting which is 447 hours, which means that you've spent about 19 solid days posting on here

In 6 years.

3 days a year. Most people spend more time than that a month watching soaps on TV.

I was going to post a comeback to that but then I noticed you had 1337 posts, so, yea. I thought I'd bring that to everyones attention.

I'm working on it, unfortunately I'm going to doss about tommorrow and play some computer games and perhaps take more of my car apart but I plan on having lots of sex on Wednesday night if that counts.

Otherwise no further plans to 'get a life'. Perhaps I should start watching some TV soaps

I can honestly say this is the most pathetic and anal thread ive ever read! Even more anal then the VXR guy thread imo!

True that, him stripping his car down and wanting to reject it has nothing on me idly wondering whether a mark on a seat will go away

How comes?
Standard replacements?

It could do with new dampers so I've got some replacement OEM ones here which I'm working through replacing :) Thats how this whole seat thing came about, I forced the buckle against the seat slightly as I took it out. The seat is now sat behind me and I noticed it looked like it was almost torn, so I took a quick pic, whacked it up, and asked a few opinions.

And got the sort of response only OcUK can give :D
