Leeds/Reading Festival 2012

Looks absolutely epic!

Going leeds myself, got an early entry + full weekend ticket on vodafone VIP last friday. Cost £226 all together including postage and booking fee's :)

So excited! Foo fighters will be an awesome opener to the weekend. Just praying for reasonable weather! As long as it stays dry, that's all I ask!
 
Hi guys I'm no longer going to be able to make it on the Saturday - what are my chances of getting my money back from SeeTickets?

What about selling them on? Any chance I could get my money back?

If you didn't get cancellation protection you probably have zero chance. You'll probably have to sell them on using ViaGoGo or others.

Really?! I hope not or else I wouldn't have bought it :p I figured that Cancellation Protection was incase you had to cancel :p

Just went on the site and it says: "Your tickets are non refundable and this will protect you against cancellation resulting from accidents and unexpected illnesses."

So I don't know... I may have made an epic fail :p

Yeah it covers you for:

o Doctor’s Note
o Death certificate
o Evidence of breakdown or disruption to public transport
o Evidence of breakdown of private transport;
o Evidence of the Emergency Services attending your residence in the event of burglary or fire
o Original witness summons instructing you to appear in court
o Original invitation to attend jury service

So I'm not able to cancel? That is disappointing :p I bought the prevention incase my friends aren't able to go in the end. Turns out one of them might not be able to go :p Looks like I may have to use ViaGoGo also :p
 
The lineup could be better but I'm still going, mainly because I got weekend tickets for £155 :p Apparently there's still 3 'big' acts to be announced that will slot in on the main stage and 1 of them is likely to be Tenacious D.

Kasabian smashed it last night. I was at a mates house having a BBQ and we were listening to it live and on the tele at the same time.

Kind of wish I had gone now. Last time I went was in 1992. :eek:

Never really felt the need to go back after seeing Nirvana headline. :cool:
