Left For Dead 2 .... This Must Be said .....

clearly missing something

graphics are better for a start and brighter O_O, the weapons "feels" more well like they would in real, a lot more weapons...and GORE I mean, I realised that a pipe bomb blow the zombies sky high in bits and you can see quite a lot of thier insides thats awesome

can that be on L4D, yes

Played the PC demo on a lan and while it was fun it just is the same game feels like a very good user made mod for the original and I simply cannot justify buying it again.

So far I've found it a load of over rated dissapointing pap (that of course is in my opinion) then again I don't know why I bought it as I found the first one far less satisfying than the average OcUK PC Games forum contributer :o

Meh, not finding it as good as I hoped either - saying that, it still is a lot of fun :)

+1,wish i never bought it. From what ive played in single player mode the game feels like a expansion pack for L4D with added weapons.

Thats exactly what i think. After all the rave reviews and everyone saying the game was brilliant... i just thought i was missing something.

Hit the nail right on the head .... the game is a £29.99 expansion pack!

I didn't buy it, though I ended up not getting L4D either. Just a bit too repetitive for me, though perhaps that's because most of my friends are not big online game players.

I love the game. Yes, it has a lot of the previous game's features in, but theres also tons of new stuff to keep us entertained! I personally love the rock concert level on survival :D

If it was the same as L4D1 with new SI, weapons and maps I would be happy.

But there are issues I do not like in L4D2

Sounds are rubbish for the SI (a small issue)

Huge guns that take up most of my screen (annoying and does not help my view)

Longer delay when pounced or knocked by SI (this is by far the worst)

Spitter damage is too high. (this is the one thing that I have seen take a whole team down more than anything else)

Scoring system. Reason being in L4D1 you would try and save your health and sometimes you would be literally crawling into the safe room just to get the points you needed from the health packs. It added a real element of suspense and risk at the same time. With the new scoring system that has been removed.

I am not really feeling this and I am a huge L4D fan. Something just doesn't feel right.

Some maps seem to have removed the team elements. All I see people doing on the final map of Parish is just running for it, leaving all the rest behind so 1 person can get into the safe room. Very rare this would work on L4D1.

It is like they have made so many unnecessay changes to justify the game feeling like a completely new game and selling it at full price as opposed to DLC. But it is early days, time will tell and I am sure I will get use to the changes. I remember when they put the melee fatigue in L4D1 I thought that was a bad move but it did help the game in the long run.

From what ive seen it looks good but is obviously going to be very similar to the original. I mean its a pretty simple game, heres a bunch of zombies kill them all ! :) Why should they change a recipe which got so many great reviews ?

The amount of money me and 7 mates have spent on it and between all of us we have done about 2h .... playing

Its not novel any more its just the same crap with a different flavour.
