Left ignition on overnight. Anything to be wary of?
I have a 2000 Ford Focus 1.6 and last night, I needed to move it forward a bit but I also needed to turn the wheels a bit so I put the ignition on but didn't start the engine (I don't like turning it on and then straight off again), I then, stupidly, forgot to turn the ignition off. I realised this the next morning when I couldn't find my keys and saw they were still in the ignition of the car
The battery was completely empty but me and my parents managed to push-start the car and then I drove for a bit to charge the battery back up. After this it seems to now start up absolutely fine. However, I was talking to a couple of people about my stupidity, and one person said I may have ****ered my ignition coil which has worried me a bit. Is there anything else I should be aware of? And yes, I know I'm an idiot
