Hey,
reason I'm wondering is my mum, a little strange; I'll be honest, wants to put some neons on the £100 Chrysler Neon we bought.

Was wondering whether they're legal, as I remember one of my friends saying blue ones are. Are green ones ok?

Thanks.

Illegal to use on the road IIRC.

im sure there is something online about it, but in general as long as the tube is not visible and you adhere to the colour restrictions i think you will be ok.

Now, I don't mean to pry, but surely your mum must be in her late thirties, at the youngest? Maybe it's just my mum, but she wouldn't even remotely consider anything like that :p

They are legal as long as the actual light source isn't visible, and i'm not sure wether you can have blue ones or not

"Your Mum", I getcha.. ;)

As far as I know blue lights anywhere on your car = illegal, and visible bulbs are also going to get you pulled.

That car should be illegal let alone the crime of putting neons on it.

Neons are legal but must not be turned on when driving if they are fitted to the outside of the car.

Mine is almost 50 and she still likes stickered up cars.

Not ones with a shopping list down the side but a proper rallye looking one lol.

She's just over 50.

No way at 17 I can get insured on a 2.0i neon.

She's strange like that. Likes club music too. :o

I'll recommend her the car park cruising idea. Would go along in my soon to get clio just to watch :p

,mrk1@1: it's a beautiful car!..
