Lending stuff to people

My mates been borrowing my shoes for the past week at work and a load of times before. He doesnt have any and i told him i would be wearing them on wednesday when i start my smart casual job. Hes worked there and everyone wears trainers (where im working)

Im also getting ****** off that he hasn't bought any/doesnt have any and hes been wearing mine that i paid £80 for. Hes just gone off on one because i wouldnt lend them to him tomorrow and he needs shoes to go to work. My reply,"i told you I would be wearing them on wednesday"

Do your mates annoy you by constantly borrowing stuff?

But in answer to your question, nope they don't constantly borrow stuff, but if they did and there was a problem getting it back, they wouldn't have anything of mine again. ;)
 
If any of my friends borrow things, it's normally a swap - i.e i'll borrow something of yours and you borrow something of mine, that way it keeps it a bit fairer.

They are your shoes though. I'd tell him where to go.
 
I don't like lending people stuff, only lend my girlfriend things because I trust she'll look after them.

Guess its because I'm an only child :o

Sounds like an idiot. If I were you he wouldn't be borrowing any of my stuff again.

Find a block of wood and a knife then tell him to make a nice pair of clogs.

I lent the Godfather Boxset to cousin in Manchester. He came to London to visit us. He took Godfather with him and said he'd mail it back to me when he finished.
That was 1 1/2 years ago. Last week I bought it again for cheaper, but wouldn't be lending it to anyone!

Lend him one shoe, and if he complains call him ungrateful and warn him either he wears the shoe to work or you'll never lend him any ever again.
 
At this very moment (and only the stuff I can remember) I have lent out -

3 guitars
One electric planer
One 12 channel powered mixer
Two celestion speaker cabs
One 400 watt bass combo
One Korg keyboard
Two standalone DVD recorders
Loads of DVD's

There must be more.

lending someone some shoes? What next lending a pair of scants, sharing socks, and wiping his butt for him? Is he about 8yrs old by any chance? that's messed up man, totally
