Hi, i dont take photography to an extreme level but i like to take some decent shots when i spectate at moto-X meetings (if in not racing that is :p ).

Basically, i have a Fujifilm Finepix S7000 (seems ok to me -> a beginner). Now ive only used it as standard, but i was thinking of purchasing a lense or two for it, but as im a beginner, i didnt know whether any of these are worth getting or not ? Should i be getting ones with zoom (or do these have it already?)

The ones i have seen are:

Telephoto
Product 1 - OPTEKA 3.2x HD² Telephoto Lens £60
Product 2 - OPTEKA 2.2x HD² Telephoto Lens £30
Wide angle
Product 3 - Macro 0.45X WIDE-ANGLE LENS £20
Product 4 - Digital Optics 0.45x Wide Angle Lens + Macro mode £30

Now sorry for being a beginner, but i do like to take pics of Moto-X riders too, as its my hobbie and passion and we all have to start somewhere :p

Thanks for reading, i look forward your professional advice :)

If I am right in saying, the Fuji S7000 has 6x optical zoom? If so then I would advise you buy either of these:

Telephoto
Product 1 - OPTEKA 3.2x HD² Telephoto Lens £60
Product 2 - OPTEKA 2.2x HD² Telephoto Lens £30

These will increase your zoom range and allow you to get much closer to the action, in this case moto x riders and therefore (hopefully) catch a greater amount of action. However, how good the optics will be in either of these 2 products I cannot advise on knowing little about them.

I used to own a Fuji S5600 however, and at the far end of the zoom (10x optical) it was very hard to get clear and good focussing on subjects...you may find a similar situation here.

Hope some of this helps, and don't be scared to post your work on these boards for comments :)

Ok thanks for your input :)

When you say:
However, how good the optics will be in either of these 2 products I cannot advise on knowing little about them

Does this come down to the quality of the product itself ?

I.e. the "optics" will always be better on a £300 lens rather than a £60 lens?

Cheers
