off to hong kong on Thursday, which lens should I get?

I already have a sigma 18-50 (cheapo one) so was intending to either replace it with an 18-200 (want some more zoom) or just get an additional lens, maybe a 28-200.

Price is important, so don't want to be spending too much.

Tell me whats best for me! :)

I'm just a bit of a hobby photographer, nothing too serious, although in the future I could step it up a gear.

If you're a hobby photog. then an all-in-one lens will (I should imagine) suit you perfectly.
The Nikkor 18-200 VR is a great lens - if you can find it a decent price in HK, I would go for it.

I thought about going down that route but went for the 28-105 range then the 100-300 range too
having said that, the 28-200 lenses aren't bad for an all in one solution
I hear they're a bit soft at 200 is all
sigma do a DG version which is fairly well received
have a look at a 2nd hand solution though, maybe you can get two lenses cheaply to cover that range

The Nikkor is in a different league to the Sigma // Tamron 18-200 lenses. It's also in a whole different price bracket.
If you're really on a budget, the Sigma // Tamron are "ok" - but the Nikkor is an awful lot better.
You will still get better optics by going for two lenses (as long as you get two goodun's ;)) - however, you lose out on a fair bit of convenience by doing so.
