Lens Hood. Buy official or not?

Just picked up a 550d with 50mm 1.8 mkii and looking to pick up a lens hood.

The genuine Canon one can be had for around £20 by the looks of it but there are Uwinka versions with the adapter ring for a fiver.

Is it worth paying the extra or will cheap do for this lens?

I normally like to go official but when the lens only cost £60 I think a cheapo will do for now.

Will probably get the Canon one when I get my 17-55 though.
