Toss up between that and the Veyron. I'd probably have the 100EX for the sleeper factor and the bigger engine - 9.0L V16. Bolt on a couple of monster turbos and a supercharger and I reckon you'd be looking at well over 1000HP

Shame the aerodynamics are that of a house!

This is were you'll laugh.... but they are surprisingly good! Drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.38 and a frontal area of 2.8 m^2. The Veyron has a Cd of 0.36, although no idea what the frontal area is. The Roller would still be good for well over 200 though

I stand corrected :( ;)

A thing of beauty tbh :p

and I agree with the OP, old 3-Series BMWs are the bees knees.

Your dream car is a Mondeo?

I hope you're joking...either that or you're very boring, sorry.

Given that he used to have a 120d Sport and now lives in the States do you not think that perhaps, just perhaps... he might be joking? :p

I know I keep banging on about it, but this is where its at:-

I'm having one next year for a runabout, if I can persuade the missus that its a good classic investment.

I actually saw one yesterday, it went flying past in the outside lane of the M27.

'Whats that idiot doing in that ratty old banger of a Vauxhall' I thought, until I saw the badge on the back which restored my respect for him but still made me think...

Awesome m8.

Years ago when I had the 24v GSi3000 Carlton, I was sat parked outside my local Post Office when a Lotus Carlton rumbled by.

I clocked it and pulled out to give chase and have a look at it.

It blew me into the weeds. Incredible stuff.

I think I may well be close to owning one next year, its either that or a new bike to replace the RSV. I think I may go the way of the car though.

If finances can be slightly stretched, I might look for one of these though:-

Nice Beemer. Classics those.

A guy up the road from me has a red one, I've never seen it being driven more than a few times a year, he keeps it in his garage and I think he only takes it to shows.

Any idea what ballpark figure we are talking about for a good nick Stratos?. I've looked online but cant find any prices.

A full size one though? :D

As for mine, well I don't know. But I've always loved MGB GT's.

TBH my dream car(s) at the moment are an E38 740i or a P38 4.6HSE.

Summer cars, cant decide between them, both awesome in their own way.

Neither of them are expensive, but i cant really see the point in having an unachievable dream car.
