i'm looking to upgrade in time for Cyberpunk 2077. Ideally I want play with 4k 144hz and upgrade to an Nividia 3000 series to support this. I've been looking over monitor options and have spotted this new LG 27GN950 that seems to fit the bill at a reasonableish price for what it is.
I feel like pulling the trigger on this when it becomes available (hopefully in the next few days / weeks). I've got about a grand saved that was to go towards a 3000 series but i'm thinking about getting the monitor first and seeing what happens when AMD release as think this might effect GPU prices / options.
Any other reasonably priced options you guys think would be worth checking out ?
i'm currently using an Acer XB271HU 2k IPS 144hz with 1080ti / Ryzen 3900 / 64 gig Ram (x570) PCI x4 ect...
I'm really happy with my setup but would like to make the jump to 4K and keep both monitors to switch depending on what i'm playing. I read that the HDR isn't that great on the LG but i'm more interested in the 144hz tbh.
Does this seem like a good option or would you guys advise looking at anything else ?
