Hi

There is not much info around about these new lg tvs but from past experience i would not buy one personally:) poor blacks and high input lag for gaming.

If i was to buy a 4k tv right now it would be either between the following two models..

SAMSUNG UE55KS7000

Sony KD-55XD9305

The only thing LG have going for them is OLED but there rather expensive still.:)

hi thanks for the post

High input lag for gaming im not bothered about that tbh. the reviews so far i have seen on the tube have been very promissing they are ips quad panels, so quite the oposite.

ALo while looking for a 4k uhd tv i did see a lot of reports about sony tvs suffering with bleed isues again on the tube enough vids on there baout it. samsung also had some probs cannto rember now exactly, tbh all tvs have soem sort of prob.

I mainly went for the lg becuase they are the only ones offering both standards of 4kuhd.

thanks for the post though

I had a look at the 55KS7000 in JL. It's almost the same physical size as my Samsung PS51E8000 plasma that JL have deemed beyond economical repair.
The rep there, who impressed me, said I'd be disappointed with motion blur of say the KU6400 Samsung. It was better on the KS. The SD picture on both were quite a bit inferior to the plasma.
Holding a £899 credit for the plasma, I now have to decide to put £300 with it for the 49KS or £500 for the 55KS.

I believe the KU6400 is not a native 120hz panel where as the KS7000 model is well this was the information i found on avforums so it makes sense about the motion blur being worse on the ku.
