While i'm waiting for the new gpu's to come out i want to get a new monitor :D

Can someone with experience of this monitor give me some info? I've searched google but different people say different things..

Firstly what is normal 2D like? Do you get lines down/across the screen?

Now with the 3D, can you only get 24hz @ 1080p? Some people have said to get 60hz you have to drop down to 720p, is this correct?

I know it takes quite a bit of 'tweaking' to get 3D working right, which i dont mind. But I want to game a 1080p, without any lag and 3D would be nice, the 120hz monitors just cost too much.

Hi, I have this monitor and I think its terrific value. See posts 110 and 111 here which should answer your questions. As far as I know the Tridef software works at 1080p @ 60hz and I can see no degradation of the picture when 3D gaming in Skyrim or Fallout NV. 2D is excellent and no lines down or across on my screen. Buy and enjoy I am loving it so far.:D

Oh and by the way I found setting up the monitor very easy and the Tridef software installation was a doddle and quite impressive.:)
