Hey,
For users who have this monitor, i was just watching TV, and then went back to my PC using the usual TV/PC button and it had froze on a fairly bright grey screen. I unplugged it as i couldn't get it to do anything, and when i plugged it back it, it has just came back with the light grey tint to everything and so it's as if the contrast is really high up and there's no backlight.
Not really sure how to explain it, everything is just really really bright in terms of contrast, but not very bright in terms of backlight, and changing all the settings seems to make no difference!
Anyone any ideas? I've tried turning it on and off and not sure what else to try? Could it be a windows things? I've gone back to TV since and it looks fine, even all the menu's look fine, it's just on the PC it looks odd!
Thanks,
Matt

Here are some photo's of it; but please note some i used flash and so you can't really tell the different in colour that there is, so the first few are the best really!

I've tried resetting the colour schemes etc, so i find it odd that it only happens on the PC, and it's actually fine when displaying the menus and watching TV. I've tried moving the monitor cables around on the graphics card to see if it was that but it's still the same, and i've tried rebooting to see if it was windows doing it or not!
Any help really appreciated :(

EDIT: Just did a factory reset and no luck!

Mine did that!

In my case it happened in the first few days so I took it back to the place I bought it.

I had a result though, they didn't have any M227WDs in stock so I got an M227WDP :D

I thought, at the time, it was something I had done.

But now I see the op had exactly the same circumstances as me.

Froze while switching ports, then he DVI output having a very bright grey tinge to it.

As I said above the good news is the "P" model can have the USB port unlocked to play DIVX and VOB files :D
