    In fact, yes, that is a major contributing factor. Remember - what PoW does is allow compute power to secure the network, so there is actually a value-add by simply having more power because it's now that much harder/more expensive to take it over. Of course, that alone isn't enough for a coin to reach Eth valuations but the size of the network's capabilities is absolutely a factor in its value.

    No, I don't think they'll reach Eth status, at least not for the foreseeable future.

    Depends - alot of the asics need work for ETC (granted not alot but they do). and ofc ETC can gpu mine

    Your just not getting it are you ALL the ASICS for ethash will only be able to mine ETC after ETH goes POS the estimate for Asics on ETH atm = 40% to 45% thats over 200THs so when they go to ETC there will be no room for gpu's as they will not be able to compete with the Asics and ETC price will not increase enough
