lian li v2000 powder coating

hi all thought i would post my v2000 which is going to be powder coated as soon as i decide what colours to paint it.
ive all ready stripped her down to a bare shell. (a lot of pieces)

had to drill out a lot of countersunk rivets.(i hope i can get this baby back together)

if any one here has powder coated there case i would very much like you to post a picture of it here.
i need some ideas, i know i want to use two different colours one for inside one for outside any help would be apreachated.

a bit of a mess but i couldnt live with out my pc for more than a few days!

or

Orange outside / Black inside

V2000 done all white!

Antec P182 I powdercoated white... ignore the roof panel, that has all been removed and a new acrylic piece put in place!

This week i've got a TJ07 going orange on the outside and black inside.
Got a V2000 being done with a black case coat and a dark blue pearl next week.

£70 for just external lets say.

that's not too bad - is it a long process from start to finish? they just spray over your paint or is there treating involved to get the case back down to bare metal?

No idea.

Cost isnt bad at all as that does include a charge of taking apart the case and putting it back together once its done.

wow i really like the all black and all white cases you have done, have you ever done a case with more than one colour?
im quite lucky im not going to pay anything for my case to be powder coated my old mans going to do it for me, he has years of experience and has given me some very nice samples of the quality that can be obtained.

ok i decided on the colours after looking at some charts where my dad works
im going for blue outside white inside, its too late for me to change my mind because i dropped the case off to him this morning! hope it looks good, also getting a 2x120mm rad holes cut out from the top of the case so i can run dual loop water cooling setup, i will post pictures soon.

No, its really strong. High end bikes are powder coated. Powder coat is baked on when done properly
