Life insurance

I went to buy new life insurance today. Joint policy with the wife. Online quote £17. I phone to buy and go over the questions, 1 of them being do you ride a motorcycle? Ok your policy is now £42.

Any one else found this. My existing policy just asks if I race. Same company too!

My existing policy just asks about motorcycle racing, the new policy with the same company now asks if you just ride a motorbike. When you applied you would have been asked, if it wasn't asked then don't worry!

Just came across this thread, I'm going to assume you've gone with someone like AIG of LV? They will typically increase your price by a fair whack (as you've already found out!) If you ride. Try L&G, if you need some help let me know.
