Limited Company Registration

Hi Guys n Gals,

I need a little n00bish help filling in some of the forms for this, has anyone done this before? I have a couple of simple questions.

Ok, on the 288a APPOINTMENT of director or secretary form theres a box asking for company occupation. What should i put there? Director? in fact that is the only question i have lol.

As a fund raising company shouldn't you be registering as a charity rather than a Ltd company.
Surely as a charity you will get tax brakes but as a Ltd company you will get stung for every tax under the sun.

we wont actually be making any profit to be taxed on. The companies Net proceeds go directly to a nominated charity. Its a cop out i know but i am not going to be running a charity, from what i gather they are more trouble than they are worth, i would rather just be the middle man.
