I've never heard the brand Lindy.
are they cack ?

going to buy my brother these for xmas as a present
as he wants some noise cancelling headphones.

defo worth getting a pair that people recommend instead of a pair that no one has heard of

also worth spending a bit more (if you can) £42 is quite cheap for a good pair of headphones

lastly, does he really need noise cancelling headphones? what environment is he going to use them in that they need noise cancelling?

well he says when he has headphones on he can always hear stuff around the house louder than when he doesnt have then on lol.
also in the summer he has his windows open and cant hear the tv coz of screaming kids playing outside so i think they should be ideal ?
 
Well, I've heard quite a lot of headphones. NS1000 are the best closed headphones (irrespective of noise cancelling) that I've heard under £140 (that's an import price - at current UK retail prices they're the best I've heard under £200).

Those things are serious value for money. If you're not in too much of a hurry they seem to fluctuate between £50 and £60 so hanging on a bit might not hurt.
