Linking with text error on forum

Is it me or can you not assign a URL to text? The link button gives you the chance to input the link, but not the text.

I didn't use the link button though, I wrote it out.

Just remove the first full stop.

The popup only lets you put the URL in.

But when it returns you to the input box, if you edit the highlighted text, that is the text that goes along with the URL.

It used to let you put the displayed text and the address in, now it requires you to highlight the text you want to make into the hyperlink, otherwise it has to be done manually.
