Where can you recommend that is newbie friendly for getting a game of poker there? Either small tourney or low stakes Cash. May even be able to persuade my missus (well, she'll be a wife by then) to sit down if its friendly enough.

Current favourite is the Bellagio, but my other half keeps cooing at the views you can see in the brochure from Wynn. It will be our first trip to Vegas, its the 3rd part of our honeymoon and we'll be there for a week. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is the heat since it will be first week in July!
$1000 is too steep hehe, $50 sounds pretty reasonable for an evenings entertainment though.
