He's already been backed by some serious money by Hicks and Gillet, hence why i can see why they'd be miffed that the title race is over for them:

Torres 20.2
Babel 11.5
Lucas 6.75
Skrtel 6.5
Arbeloa 2.6

Thats one of the highest transfer budgets in the league after Chelsea and Man U, it should afford a decent league run but it's not.

Lol ! Yes I know it was very hard for me to say that about the mancs but as much as I hate them, they do play good football.

The only player of real quality we have bought of true class is Torres. You can thank the yanks for buying him for Benitez.

I PERSONALLY think that they could throw money at Benitez all day long and he would win us another CL maybe but not the League.

Now if only the Yanks would sit down with King Kenny and a fat cheque book I could see the Title coming back to Anfield................Oops dreaming again.

To be fair weve been playing catch and will be for a while, this was the first season we spent money wisely, finally we were gonna have a chance to match United, United then go and spend 30-40 mill on squad players (bloody good ones mind).

That said weve spent really badly for a fair few years now.

TBH the problem is Hicks and only Hicks, and we all know he was only brought in by Parry because he feared losing his job if the Arabs took over. Benitez has done a good job up until now, and you can hardly say he's had a fair crack of the whip this season with all the speculation surrounding him. If Hicks wants to change the manager then make the change, otherwise stfu you 'tard.
 
I don't think Rafa deserves to be sacked, however if he looks at what the club and it's fans want, he should resign at the end of the season. It just isn't working out, he isn't being given the money etc.

Liverpool don't have a "style" of play, and are very inconsistent, which I think is hindering them in the league, which tbh, is down to how the manager organises the team. Someone else might be able to sort them out and get them playing with some sort of system similar to that of the other top teams. Hell if Spurs could defend they would be ahead of Liverpool by now.

Well he has spent how much on transfers? None of his signings bar Torres, and to an extent Babel have been great..
