I didn’t have one, was hoping I could keep my living room as clean as possible but realise now it’s essential.

Setup below. I’m getting an amp now and then may add surrounds in tbe future.

Currently have

TV - lg 83 OLED

Amp - Denon AVR-X2200W (from old setup)

Fronts - Monitor Audio SILVER 300 (7G) Gloss Black

Centre - Monitor Audio SILVER C250 (7G) Gloss Black

Atmos - Audio SILVER AMS (7G) Gloss Black

In my dedicated cinema room (which I got rid of) I just had a Dali £500 sub cant remember the model. To be fair it sounded good.

It fits perfectly in a corner so fingers crossed it does the job.

Think I probably need a new amp asap.

Sub is in - what a difference. It’s like a different system.

You were all right a sub is essential.

Went off the SVS recommended settings. 60 hz on left, centre and right. 80 hz on atmos and 50 hz on sub.

What would you recommend?

So centre 80 hz, 60 hz left and right, 80 hz atmos, 120 hz on sub (all on the demon)

What should I set on the sub for the low pass frequency. I’m using the SVS app

Audio SILVER AMS (7G) my atmos.

I’ve just set lfe mode to active. What’s the advantage over setting a manual low
Pass frequency?

I have a spare set monitor radius 90’s and a set of 45’s I could add to make it 5.1.2 in the near future.

45’s look neater but imagine the 90’s be a lot better if I go that route.

Thanks. All good ideas. I don’t use for music so stereo amp not needed.

Amp I’m on. My plan was to get the denon 3700 replacements when the new models come out in November. Anything you would suggest? I don’t mind waiting a bit.

What’s a power amp for?

I'm looking for a new AVR at the moment. My plan was to wait for the Denon but I will do some research.
