Local Council Issues - Advice needed.

Nottinghamshire County Council have simply said they don't own the tree. This is probably correct. Their reply could have been a little more helpful in pointing your in the right direction of who you do need to contact.

The tree looks like it's on amenity land, which would usually be the responsibility of your District, Borough or City Council - whoever you pay your Council tax to. You need to contact them.

I'd be surprised if the water board haven't already been in touch if it's damaged their assets.

Ah thanks for that, I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see where that gets me.

CAB then take the tree to court and press for charges.

I would but he seems a bit thick skinned to me and and he's told me to sod off as I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Apparently he laid down his roots here long before I got here and then branched out into the rest of the rest neighbourhood.

His family was blossoming before us pesky humans started drain the life out of him, when I spoke to him last he told me to make like a tree a leaf.......

:p;)
