If this is anything like their G25 it'll be brilliant (which it certainly looks like it is) - I'd say go for it. Works on PC, PS3 and PS2 which is a nice bonus, for me anyway...
 
the g25 and 27 are pretty much identical except the steering wheel buttons and gear shift mode selector.

there is a good in depth video review on utube somewhere and they compare the two in high detail.
 
I think the G25 might be discontinued. The price was going up from what I've seen.

The G27 is around twice the price though, so I'd take the G25 over it without even thinking. G27 has some good and some bad, nothing worth 2x the price.
 
Is there anything that doesn't come with DiRT 2? I must be the only person who doesn't have it yet!

The only good thing about this price drop that I can fathom is that the G25 might be cheaper. This wheel still makes no sense, but I guess people are buying it.

Absolutely, if it did i'd have bought it instead of MS's own wheel.
Forza 3 has got to be the best CONSOLE racing game anyway, yet the best wheel is for it's main rival. Yes, it'll be great when GT5 finally does come out, but by then i'll probably be too riddled with arthritis to play:rolleyes:
 
Yes, I can confirm the G25 is End of Life/Discontinued.

G27 is the best now. It's actually a better product having used both G25 and G27 personally.
 
Ordered my G25 for £126 the other day waiting on it to come, they have been jumping up in price because they are EOL, from what i've read there is very little difference to justify the £100 price difference.
 
drop it to £150 plus dirt 2 than we have a deal :p na honestly, it can't be that different logitech being gready again
