I suppose we have to be realistic. About eight years ago I paid £150 for my old Red Momo. At the time I felt insane for spending so much on a wheel, but it lasted a long time and I put a lot of miles through it. And several years before that I'd spent a similar amount on a gameport BRD setup. That broke several times and was held together with glue, rubber bands, and wishful thinking by the time I retired it.
When I bought my G25 this year for £99 I knew I was getting a ridiculous bargain. You're getting a lot of product/engineering for your money. A price nearer to £200 would probably be more realistic for the G25, and new products always attract a premium. So something pushing £250-£300 becomes more reasonable... intellectually anyway. It's just a bit of a steep step up from what people are used to seeing from that product line. Logitech may find they need a 'G26' in the £150 range.
