I have a Logitech Z5500 for about 3 years now, and never had any issues. But lately it occasionally turns off by itself. It goes into standby, but sometimes the light of the on/off button goes out for 10 seconds and then comes back on.

I've checked if the AC cable was connected properly and checked the fuse in the sub. Couldn't find any cause there.

It happens while playing from any source, including analog stereo. Some days it just works without any problems, and on other days it just keeps turning off.

Could this indicate a broken unit?

edit: I've done a factory reset by putting the system into standby and then holding the Input and Settings button for 6 seconds until the firmware version appeared. I hope this would be the solution.
