Right. Tomarrow i'm going to a theatre and going to ring around to see if any last minute tickets are available.

The person who's going with me doesn't mind singing & dancing. Likes romance and is really entertained by kiddy stuff like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins :)

I've come to The Phantom of the Opera. Is this any good? Has anyone seen it?

I'm going to go to a theatre in the City, so, any recommendations?

Cheers!

It is awesome. I have seen it 4 times. However, it's a bit heavy viewing, so depending on the person they may not like it. A good all round bet is Willy Russell's 'Blood Brothers' but i'm not sure if it's showing in london. Everone should see Phantom at least once though.

Love Phantom - have seen it a few times, with family/friends/old boyfriend, and would definitely go see it again. It's a bit different to most musicals, with a bit of opera, but very funny and dramatic. Watch the chandelier!

Saw Phantom at the Opera House Manchester and it was excellent highly recommended.

Can also highly recommend Miss Saigon which at saw at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and that was excellent especially the Helicopter scene.

Haha - thanks for the invitation, but it's probably a bit late! Hope you enjoyed it though (don't blame me if you didn't!) :)

edit: and heavens, look how old you are! oh, bless!

I would very very strongly recommend Les Miserables, which is a fantastic musical. I'm told that Blood Brothers and Phantom are both very good too.

I went to see this yesterday. Fantastic show! Brilliant! Masterpiece!
Acting was supurb! Effects were supurb! The music was supurb! The whole shabang was supurb! I'd definately go again! If not, definately be going to more theatre shows! My stereotype of them were horibbly wrong!

It was a great show!

haha it's very good - i remember when i saw it at one point, a man in a noose managed to accidently slip out of his noose and then when he realised what he had done - he managed to slip himself back into the noose, and back to struggling
