What does SR mean on the end of Pug 306>?

Unsure whether it means anything, its just a model descriptor. Maybe it means something in French. Hmm, now i'm intrigued.

A descriptor of the car is 306 1.6 SR, or 1.6 Xsi - random bit on the end

1.4 XR 5dr (SR)

It means it's a 306 Saloon with the trim level SR - giving you front electric windows and a few other things. The hatchback equivilent is XR.

Fox is correct, if you click on 306 SR it describe it as a 4 door

Yes there was. You could get SL, SR and ST. They were the 4 door versions. It was merely the 4 door saloon equivilent of the XL, XR and XT trim levels.

That means it's a 306 LX, and it's fitted with a Sunroof.

Also, it has an awful engine, so you should not buy it.
