I Been Looking At These Two

This My First Time Buying Sound Card And Speakers For My Gaming Pc,So I Dont No AnyThing About Sound Card Etc.

1: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer 7.1 Sound Card - OEM

2: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer 7.1 Sound Card - Retail

Whats The Different Between These Two,Same Name,One Of Them Is OEM and Retail,And The Oem One Is Cheaper.

I Heard That Some People Say Music One Are better Than Gamer Sound Card Or SomeThing Like.

And For Gaming Speakers.
That Goes Well With One Of These Card.

Only Spending About £40 To £50 On Speakers Or Less If You Think Any,As Long It Does Its Job.

First, your sig breaks the rules, 4 lines max.

Second, do you really want a creative card?
Take into account they have possibly the worst driver support you will ever encounter in a hardware device.
As for speakers do you want simple 2/2.1 or a multiple satellite system? (5/6/7.1)

They're both exactly the same card, but on will come in a retail box and the other will come in a basic brown box. Both should come with driver CDs, which is all you really need.

The Xtreme Music is generally regarded to be slightly better than the Xtreme Gamer, but not by a huge margin. They're out of stock on OcUK at the moment & I'm not sure when they're coming back though.

For games you can't get better imo. Unless you have 4GB RAM there are no real issues that I'm aware of any more either. I've had far more issues with games with non-Creative cards (namely Turtle Beach, who use the same C-Media chip and drivers as Auzentech's X-Mystique)

Hmm I was looking at getting this card but i'll have 4 gig ram, is it most likely to give me headaces? Sad thing is, there is not much alternative it seams..

Have had a creative 2 card in the past, never had any problems with it untill i tried to update the drivers, took a lot of head scratching to get it working again (on the original drivers).
