Looking for a holiday

As per topic, me and 3 mates have been looking at going away for 2 weeks end of July start of August, budget of 900-1k for the 2 weeks Done the whole self catering thing in Tenerife, Malia’, Magalugf and been to Cancun twice and Dominican once each time all inclusive. Looking for something more along the lines of Cancun in terms of nightlife.

We looked into going to America but the prices were too high for the time of year we can go so we are a bit stumped. The travel agent mentioned Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and although it sounds like amazing accommodation and location etc I can’t imagine the nightlife will be up to much, chilling out in a fancy hotel for two weeks does sound quite good, price was cracking too £840 all inc for a 5 star. We just don’t want to go and end up being bored at night.

So anyone got any ideas where we could go or any opinions on Egypt?

I believe the nightlife is actually quite good in Sharm

I've been to Makadi bay ( Makadi Palace hotel ) and everything was superb apart from nightlife but I don't think sharn has that limitation

Get yourselvs down to Amsterdam, best place to go when ya with your mates. The nightlife is fantastic

Its also cheap so you can save yourself a few 100

Been to Amsterdam and Prague, loved them both but its not really a summer holiday type place. I dont think i could last 2 weeks of Amsterdam either

Want a the sun sea etc..

thailand,

4 days in bangkok and then 8 in phuket?

nightlife in bangkok and scuba diving etc in phuket (+ I think its a fairly lively as well)

Vegas? If your all over 21 of course!
Probably would not recommend Egypt for nightlife wise - I mean it exists it just depends what your looking for!

Isnt there a Pacha nightclub in Sharm El Sheikh? although i guess it could be the only big club having never been

America was too expensive for flights that time of year.

Been reading up on the nightlife in Egypt, seems there is 2-3 decent clubs, Pacha being one of them. My mates seem quite keen on it, im still not convinced.

Ibiza for 2 weeks if you havent already been. 1k is easy enough, you can get a decent hotel in san an that is half board and lunch in ibiza town or whereever is peanuts. With a grand you can easy go to at least 7 of the biggest nights and spend a fair wack every night too. Mopeds and other stuff can also be done

Aye there is a Pacha there, my cousin just came back from there, and he said it was great.
