Looking for a monitor to compliment a new PC build

Hi, i'm looking to get a new PC shortly, i've not fully decided on specs, but it would be something like the components below. Could anyone recommend a monitor to go with it?

My original idea was to use the PC with my LG OLED G3, but the HDMI sockets are full and it would mean the PC is in the living toom rather than my spare room, do not sure if that's a better option. It was mentioned I could get a HDMI splitter for an extra socket or two.

I'm not too clued up on the different panels, but it would 100% be for gaming if that helps. Thanks

The Dell G2724D is a good 27' 1440p option. Its not on offer at the moment but sometimes its on offer for around £200
