Looking For A New Motherboard..Help!

Just to say hi, i'm new around here.
Looking to purchase a new motherboard to build a DAW with.....
I'm looking at the Gig GA 965p ds4, there seems to be a lot of hit and miss with this board(memory) just a question are they stable when you finally get them up and running.......or is there a better board. Or is it not the time to buy now?

Rock solid when they work and OC quite well too. Check the memory compatibility thread heres http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17616457 as this is the main concern with those boards.

DS 3 is a pretty good board also mine is very stable,first giga board i have ever owned.
