Looking for a smooth sounding sound bar

Hello everyone, I am looking for a smooth sounding compact sound bar. I currently have a very simple BOSE TV Speaker bar (left/right and centre dialogue) and was going to upgrade to the popular SONUS Beam Gen 2.

However, reading around I see a number of comments about the SONUS bar being harsh and bright. Can anyone comment or offer an alternative?

Thanks for your suggestions, the Ambeo will have to wait for a lottery win and I'm investigating the passive options.
