Looking for a watch for my birthday

My mum wants me to pick a nice watch for my 18th. Budget is around £300.

I really like the Citizen Eco Drive watches.

These are both really nice watches. Are these ok or should i be looking at something else?

The links dont bring up any specific watch.

I like the citizen eco drives. But when I came to get a decent watch, I went for a Seiko kinetic.

Fantastic build quality and robustness.

They do for me now too. How odd. Perhaps the site had a glitch.

Hmm. Black one looks good. But I've never seen a black steel strap. I think I'd have to see it in the flesh first.

I will be purchasing a seiko premier kinetic SNP005P1 soon which is a nice watch with good reviews, although price ranges from £330-£400, but can be found cheaper on an auction site. Heres the main premier range link :http://www.seikowatches.com/products/premier/index.html

Ok well i've decided that the blue perpetual calendar is the one i really want and my birthday is in a month. Is it safe to buy a watch like this off the internet? would it be ok with warranty etc? or should i just go to a local shop?

I strongly recommend "Rado" I know they cost slightly more than your budget but you will never look back.
