War of the Worlds, Independence Day, etc... forget your opinions for a sec, I just want to know of any other films with large scale military involvement ready to kick some alien butt.

Looks so satisfying with bug-bits flying everywhere.

pssst, Starship Troopers 2 is awful, steer well clear.

Try Star Wars Episode 3. It's got swashbuckling lightsabre fights through out. A fantastic, huge, immense space battle and a bit of romance!
You don't need to watch the previous two to understand this one, but, it'll be a bit beneficial.

Also try Men in Black, Independance Day, Pitch Black series.

Check the Battlestar Galactica 2003 miniseries. That's pretty much a film there way it's been put together, and it kicks butt too.
