looking for SILENT gfx card for gaming, please help.

Well, I received my GTX 570 today and I love it!! it was a brand new card, just the box had a slight bit of damage, @ idle you can't hear it at all, on full load (99%) you can hear the fan but it's not an annoying whiny sound, much much quieter than the GTX560Ti (Dual fan).

Nice one . I'm thinking of buying one but not for the performance, just the ability to choose 1920x1440 rather than being stuck at 1600x1200 with ATI drivers . Selling the card and paying about £75 to gain a bigger resolution on an old gaming CRT. It's hard to justify lol.

Have fun with your quiet new card. [TW]Fox just bought one also and was chuffed to bits as his Asus GTX 480 was too loud for him too. Hopefully this thread and his will help people looking for a quiet monster GPU .
