Hi guys,

I've specced the following laptop:

Dell Studio XPS 16

Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 720QM (1.60Ghz, 6MB cache), Genuine Windows® 7 Professional, 64bit, English, 4Gb DDR3 RAM, 128Gb SSD (Samsung, I believe), White 16" edge to edge 1080p Truelife RGBLED screen, 9 cell battery, standard DVD drive, 1Gb Radeon HD4670 graphics, wifi & bluetooth.

List price - £1599
Reduced until 13th - £1259
Plus 5% voucher - £1177 ... plus £20 P&P

Does this seem like a good deal?

What's the offer like? I know that Dell regularly have deals ... how does this compare with others, or should I wait until a better one comes along? Trouble is I need one asap ...

Its pretty standard for DELL offers - you won't get a lot better than that. There is a big thread on that particular laptop in the forum which you'll find if you search, might give you a bit more info.

Personally, I was going for this, but instead I went for the Studio 15 (i7) which saved me about £400 for a very similar spec.
