Right im a FPS/RTS gamer here so yea never been a big fan of MMO's because of the monthly subscription. However LOTR online looks really fun and a few of my mates that have it say it’s really good and i should get it.

The closest ive come to an MMO is guilds wars, so yea my experiences are limited since guild wars isn’t really a proper MMO to most fans. Any ways yea i really enjoyed guild wars so is this for me. Im not one to knock it before i try it, i just want a game that’s fun to play over the summer.

It's actually quite a bit like Guild Wars but it's a lot more like World Of Warcraft than anything else.

I've been playing it a week now and I love it. :D
 
Cool cool. I just love the whole lord of the rings world :p, who doesnt, thats why im really interested in this game. I just need a good game to keep me busy over the summer. I can only do so much goin out, i need to get some gaming done as well hehe :cool: :D
 
Is there any demo (like a 10-day trial) out yet? I would like to play, but don't want to spent £30 or so and found out i don't like it.
 
Theres a 7-day buddy key trial, if you can find someone who has the key from their copy. You also get 30 days free with the full game, but i love it. Last mmo i played was Guild Wars, if you like that you should like this.

I like the whole middle earth thing, the community on the sever i'm on is on the whole very friendly and willing to help. Looks nice and there's a good bit to do for solo and group players to do, with more content coming hopefully in the near future.
