I went for the MSI card as currently it is on offer and seems to pack more of a punch than the gigabyte geforce 1060 windforce 6gb card I had considered.

Ideally I want the budget not to go over £1500 (ideally I was looking at £1200 so maybe a part and build option might be better?), anything less is off course a bonus :) It will be used for WoW BfA (ultra), SIms 3 and 4, Roblox, multi window browsing in conjunction with word, excel etc for work. I know nothing is future proof but ideally id like it to last a good few years.

My other query is for the case id like it to have decent air flow and I know the pre-built doesnt have the option to add extra fans in the order (could be added after), however would the case still have decent airflow space with the added front / back fans?

I am open to suggestions on other builds, ideas and a buy the parts pay ocuk to make it for me.

If I was going for a pick parts and make I thought https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...-group-ram-free-240gb-ssd-bu-01f-am.html#t=a1 would make a good starting point?

Parts Wise I was thinking:

Hi welcome to the forum

I have made a few changes to your initial parts list to what i think is a better build overall.

The Ryzen bundle you mention is good value for money if you don't mind not having the current latest chipset. You also get the free 240GB SSD.

The Palit GTX 1060 is also priced very well, although it is showing as pre-order at the minute. Might want to check if the guys at ocuk can give an eta on that.

Slightly cheaper 1TB SSD.

Swapped the case for one with excellent airflow. Really nice looking case imo.

You are fine with 550W. The Seasonic is a good unit.

Changed the monitor to a better one with a VA panel. If you want to use the 'Freesync' function then go with an RX 580 instead. There is currently a Powercolor 8GB one for decent money.

The Alpenfohn cooler is optional, as the stock cooler is pretty decent. The Cryorig H7 is another alternative.
