Hi all,
The GF has lost her phone tonight at an event, and when called, goes straight through to answerphone. Now I'm hazarding a guess by saying the phone's been found and switched off - nobody at the event (bouncers/barpeople/organisers/etc) have had any phones handed in so I'm guessing it's been stolen by somebody.
Have just got on the phone to O2 and they've informed me they can restrict the SIM card, but might not be able to restrict the phone until 7AM. Does this pretty much mean that whoever took the phone can just chuck the SIM card and keep the phone?
Also, as I'm not sure if it's been registered with O2, can I provide the IMEI number tomorrow and they block it using that if the original SIM card isn't in the phone?
Thanks
