Great shots!

1. 3. and 17 are my faves

7. 8. and 14. are a bit to hectic with the light trails IMO.

I hate to break this to you but you are probably my favourite photographer on this forum. :p

Those are fantastic, just like your car ones.

Thank you, it was nice to know it was worth the trip down!

Thanks again, Yeh I can understand that. For a few shots I just wanted to capture the chaos of London, which I think it did, but as you say it might be a bit overkill :)

Hahaha! I was standing in the exact same position as pic 17 on Sunday telling my gf that it would make a great picture!

I really really like pic 9 btw.

Really like these (a lot) so thought I should probably post some comments instead of the usual one-liner I normally add.

  1. Like the B&W conversion (very moody) and the leading line of the wall on the right into the scene. Cropping 10-20% off the top of the image would be my preference giving the image a more panoramic look. I know it’s really hard to avoid but the blurred people to the left of Big Ben kinda ruin it for me (looks a little like a smudge in the image). Those to the right can be clearly seen as people so not so bad.
  2. Love this one; really nice colours/tones with lots of lines keeping you looking around the image.
  3. Good use of selective colouring leading you to the guy most in focus showing him as a traveller stuck in the middle of the busy city.
  4. Not overly keen on this one.
  5. Lovely, very clear and liking the light bursts off of the lamps along the bridge.
  6. Very cool but maybe rotate a degree or two anti-clockwise as Big Ben is looking like its leaning.
  7. Really nice but think would have looked fantastic if it only had the lower light trails in shot (not the upper orange ones).
  8. Again liking this but the lower half of the image covered by light trails looks a little washed out (if that makes any sense). If the main light trails could be kept on the image but keeping the same sharpness /contrasts as the top right section of the image it would be great.
  9. Really really liking this one, you have good eye for a great shoot I wouldn’t have thought about looking down and noticing that when walking around that part of London.
  10. Very slick and would have probably been my fav if the two street lamps were fully in shoot and the building on the right a little more.
  11. Beautiful!
  12. Really nice, fountain almost looks like a gas flame. Again maybe a 1 degree anti-clockwise rotate needed.
  13. This one is my fav, love the colours and the glossiness of everything.
  14. Very busy but still works. This one really could do with an anti-clockwise rotate.
  15. For some reason I would prefer if Big Ben wasn’t in the scene, can’t decide if I’ve trying to look at it or the bus.
  16. 17/18. Very good examples of familiar shots, number 17 being my favourite.
Again these are only my thoughts/opinions and where I have maybe criticised should not be taken as a negative. These are all very good and I’d be very happy if I could produce this level of results.

Thanks all. I might post some more up soon, still debating whether they are good enough! ;)

And surprisingly I wasnt spoken to once about being a terrorist!!

Thanks for taking the time for those comments, much appreciated!

I am aware of some of the non-level horizons. If I'm honest it was because it was raining for those shots, and firstly I was struggling to see through the viewfinder, and secondly I wanted to take the shot a bit quicker than usual so I skimped on the details a bit!

Thanks again :)

Very nice (*THANK YOU*) Thanks for brighting up my usual digest of wading through dreary hardware posts.

11. Is the odd one out it's both the best and worst photo out of the bunch. Hard to explain, the subject/angle is almost perfect, spoilt a little by over exposure.
