Lovefilm coming to PS3 next month

Is there a list of streamable films anywhere? Are there titles that are out for DVD rental on the same day etc? Is it all SD or are there any HD titles?

Tried this earlier. The interface is a bit slow and clunky, but I was quite impressed with the video quality -especially as I was expecting it to be poor after hearing that the PC streaming isn't great.

The selection of movies isn't mind-blowing, but decent enough. Plenty of music documentaries as well.
 
List of titles looks a bit random tbh. Can't see many new films and their search system on the website is a bit crappy. Can't seem to even order titles by release date to see the newest films :(

Can anyone figure out how to list any 2010 films you can stream?

Good freebie if you already subscribe to lovefilm, but the selection of titles would be a sticking point for me.

Really pleased with this in addition to my normal subscription, at the moment my connection speed tends to hover around 2 - 2.5Mbps and there was no stuttering or pausing when watching a Wallace & Grommit. Picture quality was ok, but acceptable for now (I would expect the service to grow and switch to hd as standard over time, but I would probably need a much better connection for that).

Newness of titles doesn't really bother me as there are plenty of older titles I really want to watch and I don't tend to keep a big dvd collection, newer titles I can still watch via post, and of course I'm a big fan of seeing modern film at the cinema when I can :)

Definitely some improvement could be made, search by year as previously noted above for example, I would expect this sort've thing to come over time though. Overall, as an existing Lovefilm customer I am very pleased with the online part of the service :)

On the left menu
click "watch online" in format
click "2010" in production decade

or click here

click on the left menus adds or removes filter depending if you click the top category item or sub category.

seemed a pretty good system to me
 
Anyone else had problems with this tonight? I keep getting errors like "Unable to Stream this title at the moment", but I also got one saying that I'd deactivated my PS3 from lovefilm.com - I did log onto Lovefilm earlier, but just looked at my rental list???
 
Got halfway through a film last night when the "Unable to Stream this title at the moment" message came up. Managed to load the film back up but minutes later the message appeared.
Screw Lovefilm.
 
Been using it quite a bit and and don't mean to rub it in to those that have but not had any issues (VM 10mb), a great addition to my ps3, so much better than the PSN video store.

Only real bugbear with it is the same as Vidzone, the search function is irritating.

Has it just been today that you've been using it? I tried it last night and it was still faulty for me, but not had chance today.

I've been using since launch day, 10th?.

I did have a issue watching something on the web via laptop, Thursday I think, went to ps3 version to see if it was the same but it played fine.
