Low Memory Speeds on Galaxy 7900GT

HI,

I bought an OcUK 7900GT last week - the manufacturer is Galaxy.

I have added coolbits to allow the card to be overclocked.

I noticed that the clock shows only 660 MHz instead of 1320MHz - is it me reading the display incorrectly ie:should I double that figure to get the clock for double data rate or soemthing or is the card shackled with a very low memory speed ?

yes DDR = x2 so 660ddr is actually 1320mhz

That's fine. Double 660 and you've got 1320. The ram is DDR so the frequency of the data is double the speed on the ram (or something like that).

I've got the Galaxy too. Seems to do the job.
