<<<=====LOWEST PRICE IN THE UK - MSI ATI HD 5850 Twin FrozR Graphics Card ONLY £124.99 Delivered!!==

Hi there

Remember guys, last chance to buy at this price, they are going up today and there is only like 80 units left now.

Great Deal without a doubt, only thing holding me back is no full cover water block available for this one that i know of, and if i'm going to upgrade my 5770 on my rebuild at this stage then i will want one that has a full cover water block option for it

well it's finally here, the packaging has lot to be desired tho as I'd expected the graphics card box to be packed in a box with styrofoam/bubble wrap/etc but the graphic card box was only placed in a 'plastic parcel bag'(so if the delivery guy had put anything heay on to of it, or something heavy had fallen on it during transit could have damaged the card).

all installed and working fine.

pretty good card for the money and runs rather cool even on full load.

still not happy about the plastic bag as packaging !

is this the norm from now on for us lucky people who get free shipping ?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that maybe it was delivered by chity-link ??? and was just sealed up in one of their yellow and black "no you can't see through to see any damage" plastic bags ?

I'd figure the thinking being that the box the card is shipped in should be sufficient protection

it was delivered by dpd.

part of the outside box is a bit dented but otherwise ok.

still not happy with a plastic bag though.

hmmm, not sure on dpd's standard/minimum packaging requirements, guess i will find out tomorrow as i have some RAM coming from somewhere else that has apparently used their next day delivery service for it (which was a pleasant surprise as i selected snail pace free delivery option !)

sorry, i edited the post above, to read standard/minimum packaging requirements

Because, as you say, i realised my original wording made it sound like they packed it ! (oops) ... but you know what i was meaning !
