Not sure if this has already being posted, but quite impressed to say the least.
We first got the chance to check out the latest in Lucid technology a couple of weeks back at a motherboard manufacturers HQ. For a lot of us Lucid is a bit of a dirty word that reminds us of this almost useless kind of technology that let us combine NVIDIA and AMD video cards together for added performance.

It never really kicked off for the most part and we haven't heard heaps about them for a little bit. Lucid Virtu MVP, though, is the latest technology from the company and it's something we're starting to see motherboard manufacturers promote. Today we're going to check out what it's about while also see what it does on the performance side of things.

So correct me if I'm wrong but the 7870 is worse with it enabled?

Those mafia results are back to front apart from the 1600p result. In the review its says there are gains at 1920x1200 and 1680x1050. All through the review though the 7870 seems to take a hit at 2560x1600. Check out the dirt 3 results on the 7870 which has it matching a gtx680 at the lower resolutions.

Does it work in a way that could introduce micro stuttering? or is it working in another way to share the load of the graphics card and increase the frame rates?

So Lucid MVP basically combines the efforts of the GFX Card and IGP in games?

Can we not get this on the Z68 platform?
