M.2 adapters using PCI E

M.2 i hear you can use them in the Pci E lanes.

I have a Z97 pro board. Is there any important things i need to know?

and can anybody recommend me a good combo?

Yes they work fine. Using on on my Z77 board, just a cheap generic one.

Main thing to note is you might not be able to boot off it. I managed to add nvme drivers to my bios to get mine to boot. It works flawlessly though.

An m.2 pcie slot is just like a 4x pcie slot. You can run a gpu off an m.2 slot if you wanted to.

Excellent. No i currently have windows on a M2. But its only 126gb. So i need more storage for games and i cba to pull it apart an re route wires because atm its spot on you cant see a thing.

I saw one by Asus called a hyper looked amazing could hold 4 m2's but i dont htink its compatible. The more the merrier would be great.

Any product recommendations?
