Hi all.
I installed my M-Audio Audiophile 192 soundcard into my new(ish) Vista build today and for some reason Vista didn't automatically detect it and install drivers like it normally does with a PCI device.
I went into Device manager and I can see "Multimedia Audio Controller" under "Other devices" (see the screenshot below) which I presume is the soundcard.
In properties it's saying the drivers for the device are not installed, so I went onto the M-Audio website and downloaded the only driver for Vista 64bit which is a BETA driver. It all installed OK but in device manager it's still showing as no drivers for that Multimedia audio controller...
Screeny;
Any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping the card isn't dead because it was dropped a few weeks ago onto a hard floor...
