I have had my Macbook Air for nearly 3 Weeks now and with using Watts it says my MBA battery is already at 98% health.

Is it just me are does this not seem that the battery Health has went down rather quick for being a new MB Air?

Wow it seems to have went down another 1%. But according to iStat it is still 98%.

2-3% is fairly normal and will probably remain at that for a while.
If it continues to drop I'd have words, but I wouldn't worry as it stands.
I think it needs to be something ridiculous for Apple to replace it though 85%?

My health is 89%, 1 year old MBP.

I would have thought that 97% is just that app working out an average rather than a true reading. In the sense that the original capacity is 6700 on paper when brand new/unused.

It's like, buying new shoes and having to break them in I think. ;)

Coconutbattery shows my MBP battery as still 100% (bought a new one in October). The battery was a slightly higher capacity than it was rated at (supposed to be 6300mAh, but when new was around 6600mAh) and now sits at 6564mAh after 81 loadcycles.

After 18 months, mine is at 94% and has been for many months. I wouldn't worry too much and often a recalibration will sort it out. It is a worry when it hits around 80%, as I heard that is the point where it drops off in performance.

The battery will not charge to 100% at all times. Once at 100% it drains to at least ~95% before charging again. This stops it being constantly charged. Take a few snapshots with CocoNut Battery and observe. Good to be proactive, not to be a battery hypochondriac!

I'm new to Apple laptops. I just bought a new MacBook and very happy with it. Can someone tell me how I can get the above information on my battery?

Sorry to highjack a thread!
