Yes or get rid of optical drive but that wont happen so we are stuck with core 2 for now.

They could do a cpu speed bump and increase hdd size?

My money is on Intel Sandy Bridge processors in Q1 2011. Nowt before then.

There might be a quiet bump with regards to BTO CPU options but nothing major that should hold your purchase off.

Secondly, SB should appear early next year, I predict a Early 2011 MBP refresh for SB.
